Terms and Conditions of Service
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use navivisas.com, our client and business portals, or our visa consultancy services provided by Navi Visa Consulting Consortium (Private) Limited (registration no. PV00321174), Kuliyapitiya, North Western Province, Sri Lanka. By ticking the acceptance box or using our services you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy, Refund and Fees Policy and Visa Consultancy Disclaimer, which form part of these terms.
2. What we do
We give information and administrative help with visa applications: checking documents, filling in forms, booking appointments, submitting applications where the destination country allows an agent to do so, and passing on updates. We are a private company. We are not a government body, embassy, consulate or visa application centre, and we are not an immigration lawyer unless we say so in writing for a specific matter.
3. No guarantee of outcome
The decision to grant or refuse a visa, its type, length and conditions, and processing times, are made only by the authorities of the destination country. We cannot and do not guarantee any outcome or timeline. Statements on our website about typical processing times or requirements are general information that may change without notice.
4. Your responsibilities
- Give us complete, true and current information and genuine documents. Submitting false information or documents can lead to refusal, bans or criminal penalties, and we will stop work if we believe documents are not genuine.
- Check every form and document we prepare before it is submitted. You remain responsible for the content of your application.
- Keep your passport valid, attend appointments, and respond to requests on time.
- Keep your portal login secret.
5. Fees and payment
Our service fee and any government or third-party fees (embassy fees, visa centre fees, courier, translation) are shown on your quote or invoice. Government and third-party fees are set by others and passed on at cost. Our Refund and Fees Policy explains when fees are refundable.
6. Electronic communications and records
You agree that we may communicate with you, and that agreements, notices, invoices and records may be made, by electronic means, in line with the Electronic Transactions Act No. 19 of 2006 of Sri Lanka. You can ask for a paper copy.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows: we are not liable for decisions, delays or errors of embassies, authorities, airlines or other third parties; for losses caused by incorrect or incomplete information you gave us; or for indirect losses such as missed travel, lost bookings or lost income. Our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the service fee you paid us for that service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights under the Consumer Affairs Authority Act No. 9 of 2003.
8. Ending the service
You may cancel at any time; our Refund and Fees Policy applies. We may stop a service if you break these terms, give false information, or behave abusively towards our staff.
9. Intellectual property and acceptable use
The website content belongs to NVCC or its licensors. Do not misuse the website, try to break its security, or use automated tools to collect data from it.
10. Complaints and disputes
Please contact info@navivisas.com first; we aim to respond within 10 working days. These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version and effective date are shown above. Changes do not affect services already paid for unless the law requires it.
